Deepavali in Penang; Ride and Light is an event run by HOG Penang in celebration of Deepavali 2025. The event is not only meant for Harley riders in the name of brotherhood/sisterhood. The event is meant to celebrate the festive with the less fortunate. HOG Penang is celebrating Deepavali with Shan Orphanage Taman Inderawasih. The event will start from the home, riding the kids as pillions to the event venue where there will be traditional opening ceremony, lighting of kuttuvilku, live performances, goodie distribution to Home kids, Saree Queen and Vesthi King contest, lucky draw and appreciation to chapter Directors.
The highlight of the event will be the home kids, bringing joy and happiness in their faces.
HOG Singapore will ride as a group from Gelang Patah on the 1st of November 2025 at 5am to join other chapters in Penang for the event and return on the following day.
We will have brunch and make 4 stops along the way, each stop about 150 km to cater for smaller bikes to Penang and will take the same route back.
Expect rolling speed 110 km/h minimum, As we have 700km to cover.
Food enroute to Penang and back will be at rider's own cost.
